FULL-DAY PRE-CONFERENCE FELLOWS COURSE

FELLOWS COURSE

New in 2025, we are offering Fellows in Training the opportunity to attend a Fellows Course on Thursday, November 13th, in addition to the Chicago Hemodynamic Forum. 


The 2025 Fellows Course has been designed to meet the educational needs of General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology, Cardiac Critical Care Fellows-in-Training and Cardiology-interested Residents. 

FULL SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDES

  • Round-Trip Airfare or Mileage Reimbursement, in accordance with Scholarship Guidelines 
  • Hotel Accommodations (2 Nights) on Wednesday, November 12th and Thursday, November 13th 
  • Reimbursement of approved out-of-pocket expenses
  • Complimentary registration at the Chicago Hemodynamic Forum


*Attendance at the Chicago Hemodynamic Forum on November 14th is required. For a full list of scholarship guidelines, please see below. 

DAY-LONG AGENDAS INCLUDE:

During Session I, fellows will arrive at Edwards Lifesciences IHFM Office for a full day of immersive, hands-on education focused on cutting-edge heart failure technologies and real-world applications. 


Key Highlights Include:
• Foundations of Hemodynamic Monitoring
• The science behind Implantable Heart Failure Management Systems

• Managing PA Pressures Treating to PA Pressures 

• Edwards Lifesciences Facility Tour & Implant Simulation


This course is dedicated to in-depth training on treatments for Heart Failure including In-Home Monitoring Systems.

EVENING TEACH PROGRAM

After a day at Edwards Lifesciences IHFM Office, fellows will return for Session II, The TEACH Program, at the David Rubenstein Forum.


CHF is proud to announce the addition of the 2025 Training and Education in Advanced Hemodynamics (TEACH) evening program. TEACH is a premier educational event aimed to provide in-depth knowledge about cardiac pathophysiology and the hemodynamics of mechanical circulatory support. 


Key Highlights Include:

• The hemodynamics of mechanical circulatory support

• Physiology and hemodynamics of cardiogenic shock

• Comparative hemodynamics and physiology of different forms of mechanical circulatory support
