Attention Trainees & Students! Try to stump the experts with your challenging hemodynamic case! Submit a short case in which invasive hemodynamic assessment was key to accurate diagnosis and/or management of a patient.
The top 5 submissions will be chosen to present to our judges during the case competition at the Chicago Hemodynamic Forum on November 15, 2024. The most challenging case will be chosen by our expert panel.
Our judges include Sophia Airhart, MD, Greg Lewis, MD, Nancy Sweitzer, MD, PhD, Ryan Tedford MD, and Esther Vorovich, MD.
All presentations will have the opportunity for a fast-track submission process* in the “Under Pressure” or “Images & Case Reports” section of Circulation: Heart Failure!
The Submission Deadline is October 1st.
*Fast-track submission does not guarantee publication, as all submissions will need to undergo peer review.
1) Abstract is limited to 2,500 characters
2) One figure and one table may be submitted to support the abstracts
3) Abstracts must be submitted in a Word document
a. Title, authors, and affiliation should do NOT count towards the character limit
b. Abstract text and supporting figure/table should be on the second page
4) Authors and affiliations will be redacted before being sent to judges for review
